1. Who we are

ammoudara.com is operated by the sole proprietorship Konstantina Eleni Samaritaki, Lasaias 20A, 713 05 Heraklion, Greece, VAT no. EL171804727, email contact@ammoudara.com.

1. The service

Ammoudara is a local digital guide to Ammoudara and Heraklion: a directory of businesses and places, a map, events, job listings, articles, communities, and the option to book with local businesses.

1. Account

You can browse without an account. To create an account, book or pay you must be at least 18 years old. Please provide accurate details and keep your password secret. You can delete your account at any time.

1. Bookings through the platform

The service (accommodation, activity, event, etc.) is provided by the business, not by Ammoudara. We provide the platform and the booking and payment process. The contract for the service is between you and the business. Before you complete a booking you see the business providing the service, the final price including all taxes and charges, and the business's cancellation terms. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. The receipt or invoice for the service is issued by the business. Cancellations and refunds follow the business's cancellation policy shown at the time of booking. For leisure, accommodation or event services on a specific date, the general 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. If the business cancels, you are entitled to a full refund. For problems with the service, please contact the business first. You can also write to us at contact@ammoudara.com and we will help.

1. External providers and affiliate links

Some bookings (e.g. transfers) are made directly with external providers through a widget or link, and their own terms apply. Some links are affiliate links: if you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

1. Information on the site

Information about businesses comes from the businesses themselves or from public sources and may change. Please confirm important details (opening hours, prices, availability) with the business. Weather and sea information is indicative only. Promoted listings are marked as "Featured". Any business can claim, correct or request removal of its listing at contact@ammoudara.com.

1. AI assistant

"Rota Mre Koumpare" is an artificial intelligence system, not a human. Its answers are suggestions and may contain errors. It does not give medical, legal or financial advice.

1. Job listings

Job listings are published by employers, who are responsible for their content and for the hiring process. Your application is forwarded to the employer.

1. WhatsApp communities

Communities run on WhatsApp and WhatsApp's terms apply. When you join a group, your phone number is visible to other members. Please respect each group's rules.

1. Content you upload

Only upload content you have the right to share. You grant us a non-exclusive, free licence to publish it on ammoudara.com and our channels, and you can ask us to remove it. Illegal, false, offensive or misleading content, fake reviews, spam and automated data collection from the site are not allowed.

1. Reporting illegal content

If you see content you believe is illegal, send the link, your reasons and your contact details to contact@ammoudara.com. We will review your report promptly and let you know the outcome. If we remove content or restrict an account, we inform the user and explain why.

1. Intellectual property

The Ammoudara logo, design, texts and photos belong to us or their owners and may not be used without written permission. Maps: © Mapbox, © OpenStreetMap contributors.

1. Liability

We are not responsible for the quality or performance of businesses' services, or for external sites and widgets. The site may be briefly unavailable, e.g. during updates. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Account suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law, with notice and reasons.

1. Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify you in advance.

1. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at contact@ammoudara.com. We reply within 14 days. You can also contact the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr). Greek law applies and the courts of Heraklion have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
