Partner Terms
- Who we are and who these terms apply to
- Platform: ammoudara.com is operated by the sole proprietorship Konstantina Eleni Samaritaki ("Ammoudara", "we"), Lasaias 20A, 713 05 Heraklion, Greece, VAT no. EL171804727, contact@ammoudara.com.
- Partner: any business or professional who registers, claims a listing, chooses a plan or accepts bookings through ammoudara.com ("you").
- These terms apply together with the "Plans & prices" page and the Privacy Policy.
- What the platform does
- Ammoudara is a local digital guide to Ammoudara and Heraklion. It shows businesses in the guide, on the map, in events and in the AI assistant "Rota Mre Koumbare", and makes online bookings possible.
- You provide the service to the customer, not Ammoudara. The contract for the service is between you and the customer. We provide the platform, the booking process and, where applicable, the payment process.
- We do not offer our own services that compete with yours.
- Registration and review
- You provide true and complete details: business name, VAT number, address, contact person and, where required, an operating licence (e.g. MHTE / AMA number for accommodation).
- Every new registration waits for approval before it is published. We usually reply within 2 working days. We may ask for more information or reject an application, with reasons.
- Claiming an existing listing: you must show that you represent the business.
- Automatic import (AI): if you upload a price list or a link to your website, the system creates drafts. Nothing is published before you check and approve it, and you are responsible for the final content.
- Tax reporting (DAC7): if you accept payments through the platform, we may be required by law to collect your details (e.g. tax number, address, payout account, amounts) and report them to the Greek tax authority (AADE). You agree to provide them.
- Plans
- Discovery: free basic listing.
- Featured and Growth: paid plans with more visibility and tools. What each includes and what it costs is on the "Plans & prices" page.
- Custom: a tailored partnership, by agreement.
- Prices exclude VAT. VAT (currently 24%) is added to the invoice.
- You pay monthly or yearly, in advance. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before.
- No lock-in: cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. There are no refunds for part of a period, unless you did not receive the service because of our mistake.
- Price changes: we tell you by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from the next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
- Free periods and offers: announced separately, with a clear end date. When a free period ends, you are not charged automatically: we let you know beforehand and you pay only if you choose a plan.
- Bookings through Ammoudara and fees
5.1 Which bookings have a fee
- Every online booking made through Ammoudara has a fee, wherever the customer comes from: the guide, your own link, the QR code, social media or Google.
- Bookings you add yourself (phone, walk-in) are free.
- The fee is always shown to you before you switch bookings on, on every booking and in the monthly statement.
5.2 Tables and sunbeds
- Fee: €1 + VAT per guest who arrived (tables) or per sunbed set used. The customer pays nothing online and pays at your premises, as always.
- Automatic "Arrived": a booking counts as "Arrived" unless you mark it No-show within 24 hours of the booking time. For sunbeds, by the end of the day. The app reminds you.
- Payment: once a month, by charging your saved card or by invoice payable within 15 days.
5.3 Appointments, experiences, tickets and apartments
- Commission: 8% + VAT on the amount paid by the customer. The customer sees one final price. The commission is included in your price and is not added for the customer.
- The customer pays the full amount online at the time of booking, through Stripe.
- The money is held until the service has taken place or the cancellation deadline has passed. It is then paid out to your account, minus the commission and minus Stripe's payment processing fees, which are borne by you. Both amounts are shown on every booking and in the monthly statement. Funds cannot be held longer than Stripe allows (about 90 days).
- To accept payments you connect a Stripe account and accept Stripe's terms. Identity checks are done by Stripe.
- Ammoudara acts only as an intermediary. You are the seller of the service and you issue the receipt or invoice to the customer for the full amount.
5.4 Cancellations, no-shows and refunds
- You cancel: the customer gets a full refund and there is no commission.
- The customer cancels within your policy: refund according to your policy, no commission.
- Late cancellation or no-show, where you keep the money under your policy: the commission applies to the amount you keep.
- The cancellation policy you set is shown to the customer before booking, and you must honour it.
- Payment disputes (chargebacks): if a customer disputes a payment with their bank, you help us with evidence (e.g. confirmation that the service was provided). If the dispute is lost because the service was not properly provided, the amount is borne by you.
5.5 Accommodation with its own booking link
- Hotels and accommodation can have a listing with a "Book" button that leads to their own booking page. There is no commission on these bookings.
- The Featured plan is free for accommodation that displays the Ammoudara Concierge QR code at reception. If the QR code is no longer displayed, Featured returns to the free plan, after we notify you.
- Apartments that want to accept bookings within Ammoudara follow section 5.3.
5.6 Invoices
- We issue you an invoice with VAT for every plan, fee or commission.
- You issue the receipt or invoice for your service to the customer and are responsible for your own taxes and for reporting to myDATA.
- Your obligations
- Provide the service as described, honour bookings and your cancellation policy.
- Keep opening hours, prices, availability, closed days and photos up to date.
- Show final prices, including VAT and all charges.
- Hold the licences, insurance and safety measures required by law for your activity.
- Comply with consumer law. Fake reviews, misleading offers, fake "original" prices, illegal services and unlicensed accommodation are not allowed.
- Your listing content
- You are responsible for it being true, lawful and up to date.
- You hold the rights to everything you upload. If people appear, you have their consent.
- You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to show your content on the platform, in Koumbaros, in articles and on Ammoudara's social media for as long as the partnership lasts. Articles already published may stay online afterwards.
- Your descriptions are used as information for Koumbaros, not as instructions to it.
- Ranking and visibility
- In the guide and in search, the order depends mainly on: (1) how well the listing matches the search and filters, (2) the distance from the user or from the point on the map, (3) how complete and up to date your profile is, and (4) your plan: paid plans may appear higher, always labelled "Featured".
- "Recommended" sections: chosen by the Ammoudara team. They may include businesses on paid plans, always labelled "Featured".
- Koumbaros (AI) recommends only on the basis of what fits the user's question. Your plan never affects what it suggests or in which order. For signed-in users, it may take into account their preferences and saved places, if they have allowed it.
- We do not accept payment for a better position outside the plans described here.
- Data
- You receive the customer details needed for the booking. For these you are an independent controller. You use them only for the booking, in line with the GDPR, and not for marketing without the customer's consent.
- You see statistics for your listing (e.g. views, clicks, bookings), depending on your plan.
- We see the data generated on the platform (bookings, views, clicks) and use it to run and improve the platform. We do not sell data. Aggregated data about other businesses is not shared with partners.
- More in the Privacy Policy.
- Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account at any time. Bookings already made must be honoured or cancelled with a full refund to the customer.
- We may suspend or restrict a listing, with written reasons at the time, for: breach of these terms, false information, illegal content, serious or repeated customer complaints, fraud or unpaid fees.
- For permanent termination of the partnership we give you at least 30 days' notice, with reasons. This does not apply to serious or repeated breaches or where the law requires us to stop immediately.
- You can explain your side through the complaints process (section 11).
- Complaints and contact
- Email contact@ammoudara.com with the subject "Partner complaint". We review it free of charge and reply in writing within 15 days.
- If we cannot find a solution, we may agree to mediation before going to court.
- Changes to these terms
- We notify you by email at least 15 days before any change. If the change requires technical or commercial adjustments on your side, we give you more time.
- If you do not agree, you can end the partnership before the change takes effect, free of charge.
- Liability
- We provide the platform with reasonable care, but it may be briefly unavailable (e.g. during updates). We do not guarantee a specific number of visitors or bookings.
- We are not responsible for the quality or performance of your services.
- Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
- You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your service or your content.
- Law and courts
Greek law applies. The courts of Heraklion have jurisdiction.
- Acceptance
You accept these terms by ticking "I accept the Partner Terms" when you register. We store the date and the version you accepted. The terms are always available on ammoudara.com.
