We grew up here, shaped by tourism, and we know it from every side: the visitor's, the local's, the host's. So we build the bridges that bring them together.
Open to all of Crete
Ammoudara is where we begin. Our place is the whole of Crete, and its history reminds us who we are. Whoever comes close discovers they carry a piece of it too.

Why I do this
I grew up in Ammoudara, surrounded by tourism. I saw it from every side: the visitor who leaves without really getting to know the place, the local who watches their neighbourhood turn into a shop window, the small business that gets lost among the big ones.
That is why I created Ammoudara.com: a place where everyone finds their people, where we learn from the land we walk on, and where a small business can stand beside the big ones.
Because I believe there is room and time for everyone, as long as we are truly present.
